A Day of Fishing For Leroy

A day of fishing for Leroy is here with it still being summer.
His parents decided to take a trip to the water with Leroy accompanying.
The heart of little Leroy was fluttering as excitement built inside him.
He loved to be with his parents for he knew he was always loved.
Their home life was exemplary  to the others; in the community.
Leroy was about nine when they planned the trip for this day.
Expectancy was written on the face of Leroy as to what would happen.
Arriving at the water's edge, the three of them got out of the vehicle.
It was a sunny and warm day for them as they loved to be together.
A few moments expired when they saw a deer close.
Leroy took a long hard look at the deer and started to run.
His dad, Eric, stopped him from going any further.
Rachel, his mom, was looking out for the two as they walked back.
Having fish on the hooks they threw was a call to arms of course.
Leroy pulled in a grouper while Eric pulled in a rainbow trout/
They smiled at the other and shook hands as they took their fish to Rachel.
Joy filled Leroy's heart and seeing the look of this little man made his parents smile, as well.
