What is it that would harm you?
If devoted in doing good;
And zealous in what you do,
Honoring God as you should.
Even if you must suffer,
In doing what God approves;
Fret not when things get tougher,
On anything that behooves.
No need for to be afraid,
Never try to get upset;
The past has started to fade,
No longer is there a debt.
Dedicate your life to Christ,
And be ready to defend;
Your feelings are sacrificed,
If others try to offend.
Make your defense with respect,
In keeping your conscience clear;
With gentleness to reflect,
Your devotion without fear.
Those who treat the Christian life,
With contempt have ridiculed;
And attempt to cause you strife,
Their torrid lust has them fooled.
It is better to do good,
Than ever to do it wrong;
Because of the sin that could,
Make agony to prolong.
It saves you through Jesus Christ,
With fullness of His Spirit;
Erases the times when enticed,
Letting you to inherit.
Christ has gone up to Heaven,
A place that we will call home;
Since we are as His chosen,
Going when no longer roam.
