The day I met you was a day I'll never forget.
Ever since that day I have been filled with regret.
But everything has changed and my thoughts can collect.
Things are so much better now more than I can expect.
When I first saw you I was looking in a mirror.
Everything in my soul couldn't be more clearer.
Everything about you made me want to draw to you.
But it wasn't the right time to follow through.
But I'm not the same person I was back then.
I still only have myself to whom I depend.
But I still think about you from time to time.
The presence of you still lingers in my mind.
In a mirror I see a reflection of you and me.
If not in this life then for all eternity.
You are a great gift and I can see it your eyes.
And there was nobody that left me so mesmerized.
