Scot's Poem
I remember all the good times we shared
And I will never forget your face
God used your life to share his love
And teach me the meaning of grace.
So smile once more for me
My life was not in vein
I finished the task that I was born to do
That's why I couldn't remain.
The clock of life is wound but once
And nobody has the power
To tell just when the hands will stop
At which minute, second or hour.
So don't think of me as gone away
My journey's just begun
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one.
Just think of me as resting
From the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days or years.
Think how I must be wishing
That you could know today
How nothing but your sadness
Can really pass away.
So please don't cry
Because we had to part
As long as you remember me
I'll live on, in your heart.
