Biting wind By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Crisp sharp breeze envelops my
far too exposed face.
All those sets of eyes run through my head.
Storm blue, sea green, Brown green flecked.
What would I give?
I've given sanity already,
That wasn't so fun.
I've given time too,
I've still got some.
I've given hatred, near love,
false love.
But I wouldn't give it all.
I'm sorry to all
of those sets of eyes,
sorry for pedestals,
sorry for crying
sorry for dragging them into
this damn mess of me.
And as the coldwind whips my own eyes,
and my face flushes with chill.
I still wonder what I'd give.
