Walkin on Air

Extra Baggage

Ah, to love what must be left behind:
only saved souls live forever;
such as encumbers soundness of mind
transgresses the edict of never!

Vacancy fills the world with spaces,
sweepers sweep a concrete universe;
‘tis true I've been many places
sipping culture foreign winds disperse.

God in a poster, can you believe it?
Faith devoured by flames of sedition:
pyromaniacs who receive it
need feed their embers of ambition.

Overweight luggage where does one store?
Naked we come and naked we go;
you see the light from that distant shore,
who can reach by running to and fro?
