Dad Was a Gracious and Kind Man

There are some of  you who have read many pieces about my mom.
Few pieces have been written about my dad  through my own grief of failing him.
I will with this piece try to write a piece about my dad several times during the year and for you to come to know him better.
He is so worthy of knowing and he loved me with his heart.
Dad provided for his family and sought work when what he was doing was over.
Dad never did lag behind but was forceful and with an initiative all his own.
He labored and hard at the jobs he held to provide for his family.
Dad was set back some years ago with some broken ribs.
Dad tenaciously went  back to work and did his best for us.
One can't help but be proud of a dad w ho cared for us as Dad.
It is an honor to be with his last name as my own.
I stand in awe of my dad and give the Lord the praise for giving him to me.
