To each, who is afraid of the human mind By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I've told you this a hundred times,
With a thousand words and million rhymes
That the evil that you're trying to find,
Lies inside your own, goddamned mind.
We've known for eternity,
That the human mind is most scary,
If left to own devices, the mind does grow weary,
And construct an ideal in reality.
Or worse still,
It shall create monsters that you cannot kill,
Monsters with a hole to fill.
Men or monsters, does it matter still?
The dark that we do know,
Rises from human minds long ago,
The hell that we do fill with woe,
Is filled with human hate and foe.
For we create,
Fickle hate,
And fall prey,
To out fickle bait.
And the monsters and taints,
To angels and saints,
Are all of the human paints,
That shall never fade or faint.
For as long as human mind shall think,
They evil shall lurk each time you blink
