I'm sorry, it's another poem about you By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I'm sorry
I know I said I wouldn't call you
Or bug you
Write another song or poem about you.
But it's dark
And you sill possess my heart
And I'm pondering on all the reasons
Loving you every season
Questioning why the dice always land on your doorstep
Correct me if its not true
But Why is it always you?
The person it always comes down to
When I'm falling hard about to hit the ground
Your embracesaves me and I feel safe and sound.
my heart is out of chest
But it's beating to the tune of yours
And I'm at peace and rest
Still debating if this is real?
And if so, will my woundsfinally heal?
that isn't so
Because you seem to disappear
When I finally can see you clear
Like a clock
You go around until you've reached the key to my lock.
Then you close it and leave
Throw away the key
So no one else can get inside
You lied
You said I could be happy without you
this is not true
I've died 1000 times waiting for your return
And revived another 1000, I'll never learn.
And sometimes at night
in between breaths
I wonder if I'm waiting for you to disappear or return.
But I know despite this, it's always you.
