Find me when the sun's down
It's an empty playground
Here I am with no sound
But tears from yesterday's scars
Find me where I'm sitting
On the bench where I'm spitting
Because I'm no good at hitting
The ball out of the park
Everyone I ever met
Has been telling me it's a shame
Everyone I ever met
Has been shy as always
Because I'm not the tallest person
Nor am I the strongest of them all
I don't come in higher fashion
I'm just the regular folk
Who finds it well, so easy to dream
When all that they have is reality
Who takes it out on their self-esteem
When nobody's ever listening
Everyone I ever met
Has been telling me it's the way
Everyone I ever met
Has been fighting it always
Because we live in a world of war
And we been wise not to pick up a gun
Though we been smart before
We been fooled to join this one
