They silently watch
The setting sun
The shadows arise
It's time for fun
He takes her sweet hand
It's all by chance
And then they begin
The shadow dance
It starts off real slow
She starts to twirl
The finest couple
This boy and girl
She starts to curtsy
He gives a bow
They begin to do
A waltz right now
Under the bright stars
They fill the night
The silvery moon
It shines so bright
Her dress is flowing
In the night breeze
Cicadas singing
In the darkened trees
They dance through the night
They make no sound
Morning sun rises
They fall to the ground
