How to treat a girl By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
"Get out of the house,
you're not going to find your soul mate
this way.
Jump right into it,
doesn't matter if you break some hearts
to find it."
I met a girl I thought was incredibly cute,
but the thing is that we were so different,
I didn't have a clue.
A shy kid in middle school
turned into a hopeless romantic in high school.
Flirting, I could never land it,
what do they take me for a fool?
There's like 45 different ways this could go, and you expect me
to just have a normal conversation and let it flow?
She'd probably laugh at me and walk away,
so I guess being alone is better than feeling this way?
The growing feeling my heart
turned into butterflies in my stomach.
So what if I don't find my soul mate?
Maybe I don't wanna get married.
I guess I'd be lying,
these girls in my town are gunning for me, got me sighing.
And they don't even know it, everything they showing
looks so good, so wrong and right, but I know it
is all a trick and a test,
a smoke screen because they were told to show less.
Not saying I deserve to be blessed this way,
but I know how to treat a girl.
Give her your all and keep her dressed
in her dress, tell her looks prettier in it.
You don't need her to do anything for your love,
because you already think she deserves it.
Repeat it tomake sure she heard it.
Yeah she deserves it.
Makesure your words hit.
