Amy's nightmare By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Screaming in the middle of the night
Choking on words
Things she couldn't say
She tried but failed
Silence's even getting louder
Where is her voice?
Why has it left so suddenly?
Wake up… please wake up…
Drowning in a sea she created herself
Seems like she's cried for hours
Teardrop after teardrop
Every salty stain left behind
Hurting her aching skin
Burning where your skin touched hers
Wake up for gods sake
Bones are breaking
Hearts are aching
Where to hide?
Where to run?
Gasping - she's lying on the ground
Icy air filling her lungs
Breathe in and out
She tries so hard
To remain conscious
As the darkness covers her eyes
You left her to die
