far more simple to ignore the signs
than to face the facts and accept the lies
to hold your hand and say the truth
that somehow I'm still so in love with you
all my muscle is gone and strength so low
no food in my gut and my ribs they show
skin and bones I'm wasting away
floored by the power of a hearts decay
i wish i was angry and i wish i would yell
i wish you knew how you've formed a hell
i love strong as a man but I'm a pitiful boy.
too weak to let go too strong to give up on you.
