These blinders show me only the path you choose for me to see,
Straight and forward, only one destination.
This walk has taken years, is there no end?.
Yes there is but it's my choice, there is no you at the end.
Back peddling and making the finish line an impossible reach,
The vows were taken it was you, I didn'tbreach.
I can't get these damn things off!
Still stuck on the same course,
A course all to frequented.
I walk it alone, no hand to guide me,
Where do I go?
I know but I don't want to go there.
I've never ran a race in reverse,
Sometimes I wish I would have.
As far from our finish as possible.
Back before I hit the wall,
Marathon26.2
We finished at 10 but not together.
In wanted to finish, I had prepared and trained,
It's called self control.
Maybe we should have trained together.
My fault too
It's easier to accomplish with support.
Endurance is learned.
We wouldn't make very good teachers.
Learn from lessons lived,
I did.
Let's try another,
Train together?
I'm in are you?
