My haunted heart is empty
Lying in the grasp of a chilly death
Struggling to hold onto fleeting memories
I lie awake at night
Lying in the grasp of a chilly death
My heart beat fading quickly
I lie awake at night
Dreaming of better times
My heart beat fading quickly
Falling into my Utopian slumber
Dreaming of better times
Aching inside for a lost love
Falling into my Utopian slumber
I find myself dying slowly
Aching inside for a lost love
That can never be replaced
I find myself dying slowly
Trying to recall precious memories
That can never be replaced
My heart lies in this ghostly place
Trying to recall precious memories
Such a herculean task
My heart lies in this ghostly place
Awaiting the sweet taste of victory
Such a herculean task
Struggling to hold onto fleeting memories
Awaiting the sweet taste of victory
My haunted heart is empty
