I wade into the water
Santa Monica
Fresh cold water
Crashing waves
Salt in the air
On my lips and in my hair
The palm trees are waving
The Buick has gas
Sandwiches are in the picnic basket
The gulls glide and call
A week before fall
The sand glitters against the shore
Long drawn breaths
Love deep like the waters depths
This feeling echoes into black space
Hold my hand
Caress my face
Born to feel this moment
By the creators great grace
