The phase By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I might have been that way back then,
but that's not who I am today. In a lot of
ways, I'm still the same but I'm a whole
new version of me.
You see, the leaves begin to fall off
the trees. When the seasons change,
some of the colors get stripped away
from you.
There's not much you can do, except
go with what you have. It's a part of the
natural order, so even if you don't like
it you have to let go of who you were.
There's a brand new future for you,
preparing itself to grow. Give it a minute,
and you'll soon find the phase that plays
again.
