Their hospitality By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
We need to appreciate
And relate openly
In public, the heroic efforts
And pay real comments
So many people were drowned in river water
Actually they had gone on picnic but were unaware
The water was suddenly released causing water in spate
They had no chance to counter the fate
Two Sikhs noticed some human beings
Very desperately trying
To reach shore
But getting no where
No time was left
Two Sikhs action very prompt
They opened their turban
Tied like rope and threw it to save human beings
A least twelve people were saved
Had they not thought promptly and dared?
The story might have different tale
But they did not allow humanity to fail
The turban has religion significance
But here was only chance
To save the people from danger
Such bravery throws open real flavor
The Sikh people are real patriotic
When it comes to basic principles
They are known for their hospitality
And all the more dedication and honesty
