Not so lost in space By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
If I am stardust--
where is my glow?
I am not angry,
I'd just like to know.
There isn't a book
explaining time and space.
So where in this universe
do I find my place?
Hanging by a thread
on a blood red moon.
The arc of the stars
tell me it's June.
Playing hopscotch
on the stars 1,2,3,
or maybe sliding down
Saturn's colorful rings.
I seen angels stuffing moon rocks
into their pockets.
Playing hide and seek from
NASA's rockets.
I've seen demons juggling meteors
and hurling them through the night.
We wish on shooting stars...
Little did we know, it's just a snowball fight.
When temptations seed
was ready to grow,
we jumped on and said,
"Giddy up, GO!!!!"
We launched through worm holes--
just going with the flow.
We're just enjoying the ride,
the highs and the lows.
