On scale of one to seven
Is it a blessing or a curse
To see too much and to feel it
Tell me which is worse
Everything is revealing
You must admit it's kind'a weird
All on a silver platter
Your ducks all in a row
Everything is glowing
But somehow I know
Promises sound so precious
But a heart ofgold has a certain luster
Sometimes I wish that I was blind
You waltz right in wearing flowers and lace
Humming a lovely tune you know that I can't sing
You waltz right in wearing flowers and lace
Humming a lovely tune you know that I can't sing
Many people tell you
How much you're loved
But you can't help but notice
Their outstretched hand is gloved
Promises sound so precious
But a heart of gold has a certain luster
Sometimes I wish that I was blind
