The sweet red cherries and plump golden apples
are ripe and hang lazily upon the drooping limbs
of the heavy laden trees.
Colorful maze rises high in the fields waving in the
gentle Autumn breeze and pumpkins lie plump and
fat upon the fertile fields and the bushes are full of
bright blue and red berries ready to be picked.
The golden wheat waits patiently in the fields fro the
farmer's sickle and orangish-red peaches peek from
beneath the colorful leaves for its harvest time across
the country.
Farmers scramble to their combines to ride in wide circles
round their ripe, bountiful fields plucking up all of the corn,
peas and wheat leaving in their wake empty, dusty fields.
All is well on this merry morn as the soft sunlight burns off
the frost from the once bright and colorful land. For now
all is harvested and and ready for the market this crisp day
and farmers everywhere can take their rest from their hard
toils for another plentiful harvest is now joyously complete.
