The rose By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
A beautiful bud sprouts from the stem
A delicate flower, as precious as a gem
Butterflies and birds come from afar to see
Just the bit of dazzling in this small beauty
Eventually the petals fall, and leaves curl up tight together
But still this blossom is a beauty, a forever beloved treasure
When the flower entirely dies away,
Seeds will fall, and fly astray.
And we will wait, for the time to come
When new roses bloom, pretty and young.
