A fleeting star By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Unconcerned with the world
finding silence forever pleasing
I sit in my world
so alone it feels completing
I am only microscopic
like a fleeting star
passing silently through this universe
almost completely unheard
Yet I am so massive
when I dip into my mind
thoughts continuously reflecting sounds
making meaning out of meaningless nouns
I hope to grasp this life
to hold each moment in every light
and to let it pass as I pass by
silently soaring through the night
I work for my limbs to honor my words
for my words to be at peace with my mind
yet I often fall
so getting up has become a habit of mine
Often I question who I am to become
I see my actions betray what I believe
oh this urge to be right
this urge to be raised above
it all stirs my insides
leaving me to spew at the sight
These faults, they are mine
and those faults, they are yours
Lets cease to expect perfection , when ourselves are covered in dirt of our own.
