The man inside By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Darkness is everywhere
But there is still light
Nobody wants to play fair
But you know that the pain they give is not right
You try to smile
But your heart aches in pain
You will walk for miles
Just to keep sane
You don't mean to hurt anyone
But they don't know what is like to feel alone
You want a friend to have fun
But everyone hides in their home
They call you a freak
And spit in your face
But when you break
They all run for their place
Times grow faster and faster
Now you are still alone
Pain is turned to disaster
The anger from the people at home
You never thought of the word "friendship"
Until you say the little boys love
You saw him flip
When his friends were hurt from above
You realize what you are
When you guys got into a fight
Now you are not that far
To escape from the night
You idolize the guy
And wanted to learn more
So you went home and started to cry
Behind the closed door
The people you pushed
Had something to hear
You say you were a douche
And they have nothing to fear
No matter what they did to you
You forgave them for all the pain dealt at night
Nobody would have done the truth
Except for the man I see inside.
