There's a thin line I discovered lays inside me.
It's like a ledge that my feet are dangling off
And no, it's not quite scary
'Cause I think I'd rather fall.
The thin line that stays inside me has been there all along
I guess I didn't know that my rope is stretching it's last tassel.
I didn't know it wasn't all that strong.
I walk along the breaking tightrope.
I'm trying to get across.
My effort seems so fleeting
But that's what everybody wants.
I know the line will snap,
I can hear the stretching.
It might look a lil scary
It's not that long a' fall.
I know that you'll miss me
But know this is what I've wanted
All along.
