We've all been wronged
From nine to five
And a life too long
She stands cold in the parking lights
Waves him down, her eyes a catch
You'll know peace
When you lose your breath
We've all been wronged
From black matter
And a bored deaf god
Open the vent
And cut the blinds
Not much left to do, but
Sleep another lonely night
I will be wronged
From a life I deserve
That's much too long
We move along
Cut loose
Like leashes off the dogs
