Accepting a will By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Rather surprised at such an embarrassing planning,
Amidst refusing or accepting her will,
Would I be still in complete ignorance - Still ?
Couvent des Oiseaux as a school of honour
In my rememberance it had won high born girls' favour
So many nice 'damsels' gathered from the city.
Where handsome boys often showed themselves hesistantly.
Heaven ! How could a boy be so shy ?
I didn't know if I could come but I would try
I believed in my boy of firm stuff and manner
No loving arrows would be shot through my heart, even hers
