To know as if before storm By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
the crisp divide
that falls from you reveals
to me a shoulder,
round and soft.
where
my smell and your smell
becomes our smell.
i would know in you
the energy to remove
barriers, and let
fall to the earth
around our feet.
carve in to the evening air
the distinct pattern of
our one ancient moving.
what comes to us, allows
us to possess, by
unknown reason,
though familiar chemistry,
traveling through a country
wet as rain, culminating
pleasure.
and i can no more break
the rocks of mountain,
than deny the inevitability
that we will come again
to remove the last remaining
rent fabrics from our bodies
to know as if before storm;
us.
