Let it split.
Vulgarity from innocence.
Draw a line hair-thin from the beginning to the end.
Let your children balance on it,
Eventually they'll slip,
Going by statistics, the ones that fall in the vulgar pit
Take up ninety-nine percent.
Let it stem.
Love and hatred.
They're one and the same,
Branching out to different ends.
Intense emotions, that tend to fade
But in some small way they never really go away.
Stuck like glass inside your brain.
Only there to cause pain.
Let it grow,
Knowledge and the unknown.
The more you learn,
The more you know
The less the world has to show.
Keep yourself half full,
And be content with wisdom's flow.
