my shirt open halfway
like on the grass in a church parking lot,
the happiest i've been in years
cringing,
because the worms are back in your gut
and the paintbrushes have left stains
in the porcelain, on skin
my shirt unbuttoned all the way,
there are bruises on my ( )
and you share the same name as the cutest boy in school
and you get made fun of for your ( )
and there's a finality to this,
a resignation, a vacant expression of sexuality
of the matriarchy in your gut
and i could die in your skin
if you would just close your mouth,
close the windows, close your eyes
and swallow, empty yourself of my ( )
stuffed to the brim in the dovecote
because you are afraid to eat
you have swallowed too much of my ( )
i could die in your ( )
