Strawberry Fields Are Dying

Strawberry Fields Are Dying October 7, 2015

Goodbye forever, the world has lost a friend

Peace be with you up there, peace be with you friend

Four times the flash did happen, broken glasses on the ground

No time to say I love you, no time, not even a sound

Strawberry fields are dying, you've left the world alone

Imagine could have been so different, now we're on our own

They tried up there, never gave a care, remove you from the land

The words of peace were words of war to the ones that did not care

You paid the price on a city street, flashes in the night

You've left us now, goodbye my friend, you tried to make things right

The powers that be took you from me, the worlds a better place

Your words are with us, your music, you tried to save the human race

Goodbye for ever, the world has lost a friend

Peace be with you up there, peace be with you friend
