Hey there, I'm an 18 year old graduate
and I haven't looked at my diploma since I graduated yet.
When I look at it,
I just think about everything and anything I could've done so drastically different.
So sometimes your biggest achievements are also your biggest mistakes,
sometimes the things you understand the most
mess with you til' it's present in the look on your face.
So okay, go ahead and tell me everything's alright,
but don't get mad when I take that the wrong way.
Because sometimes the best news in the world hurts the most
because you know you haven't experienced it yet.
Sometimes the people who mean the most to you can hurt you the deepest.
I'm just a weird kid trying to grow up in a society that's already deemed me a reject.
How the hell could I get a degree if I barely managed the diploma?
I've got an idea, could I please just reset?!
They say all is lost if you don't take that next step,
I'm afraid that I'm about to step in a hole and get myself in a mess.
Well hey, look at me!
I can write how I feel and make it sound like it belongs on a beat!
Rhyming and making myselfvulnerable and stuff,
it surprises me I can even pronounce half these words..funny,
I guess it's all a little luck.
