Fall is the color of brown …I saw it on a wall
Of my favorite graduate
A long way off from these verdant Green days of May
Crinkled in bags from Smart Saver
Brown, Fall, middle America
Cocoa sweet was brown, best brown of early summer, spring
Verdant,
Small chocolate treat she would,; growing pup
She could,
Shake small lilac bushes purple like a huge lions shakes the bush
Kings from other plains, oh Africa
Oh grass Hashing plains of the Niobrara and the Platte
Oh quilted Republican of my home; Hiding Cocoa in the lilacs
Little pup shaking, dragging our plains to the fence, Oh attitude
Fall is pumpkin spices, ginger, cinnamon, sweet pungent fumes
Twisting noses, taunting tongues
Fall is the young boy of spring once green and verdant
Fall is the harvest, fat old loving hound of our life
Dried by teen days, browning on the edges, stepping out
Growing pointed, staring down winter
Fall is graduation.. Fall is the color of brown on the plains
Drag them with you like lilac trunks and shake them
