Explore the cave that is my chest
A torch reveals there's nothing left
Your whispers echo off the walls
And you can hear my distant calls
The voice of who I used to be
Screaming out "someone, someone please"
Please shine a light into the black
Wade through the depths and bring me back
( my response)
ill bring you back and with a smile
for youve been gone for quite a while
and there i see a ray of hope
our paths in which will interlope
and now i see the beaten heart
which was broken from the start
a new path i pave before thee
a new bright path thou shall see
and with the hope of broken dreams
i give my tears to liven your streams
watch your smile as it gleams
for all is not as it seems
i take your hand, and now we turn
within in sanctuary the fires burn
and now that you have my concern
what simple fear did you unlearn?
