So here's to fools looking for gold,
finding treasure chests full of foolsgold.
It was so bold when I underlined the meaning of the story.
Now I don't know about you,
but I like the part about fools looking for something.
Well I'm a low down dirty devil looking for diamonds
so maybe then I could convert into something better
and stop backtracking, reverting
into a child sitting in a bed trying to guess these simple endings.
Chasing perfection, still no satisfaction,
these days people glorify mediocrity. I wantaction
because at the end of the days I feel no different
and I'm mad at the fun. I'm mad at the sun
because it goes down too quickly.
The moon feels no sympathy for lazy bums
who do nothing to become something while they're still young.
Well I at least know I'm something,
but right now I just don't know what that is yet.
Another day is done.
