I encourage you to pray,
Petitions and thanksgiving;
Intercessions not to stray,
Thanking God for forgiving.
Supplications for all men,
Those with the authority;
That they not abuse it then,
Think about priority.
That we lead a tranquil life,
Living in a godly way;
Not over burdened with strife,
And always trust and obey.
This is good and pleases God,
As Savior and our Lord;
To whom we honor and laud,
Remaining in one accord.
It shall be acceptable,
Fitting to always worship;
As well as permissible,
Keeping a relationship.
The Lord wants all people saved,
As well as learning the truth;
No longer to sin enslaved,
Haughty and being uncouth.
God gives hope and a future,
Truth in wisdom and knowledge;
Each one as a new creature,
Once each one does acknowledge.
For there is only one God,
Mediates for God and man;
Jesus Christ who we have called,
And written into the plan.
Since we are always enticed,
And are corrupted within;
Is why He was sacrificed,
To free us from all the sin.
