The new morning has a weight
It is whale-heavy
It is a beige ceiling
A cobweb in the corner
Awindow ajar
And it is on every fleshy inch of me
I lay in a black cloak, a thin slip of a skin
Wrapped safely in a transparent womb
Letting in light through flower patterns - And with tears,
I wish for a child
