When I surrender By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Precious skin that is now soaked in aging,
Eyes that are in need of closing,
Moments of innocence is done and I'll finally meet the ending.
Memories of the good days, I remember.
What will happen if I leave them?
What happens when I finally surrender?
Surrender to the light of life, giver of my life.
I know, I know this is just a rest but will hurt my loved ones like a knife.
Do I surrender to death that seems like darkness to others?
Or am I surrendering my knackered soul to the Creator?
I believe,
The truthful one is already calling me.
I believe,
He'll guide my aching soul forever,
I believe,
It will just be fine when I finally surrender.
