She looks like a bleeding sunset,
but she's ghostly moans on the inside.
I'd tell her that my heart was hooked,
but I'm afraid that'd make my nose long.
On this new earth of mine,
I have a better sense of what love is.
In this silly young heart of mine,
I always use to live on fantasy island.
She looks like a bag of cotton candy,
but she's acid rain dripping on the inside.
I'd sweep her off her feet and carry herhome,
but I'm afraid that'd make me a broad way idiot.
On this new earth of mine,
I have a better sense of what love is.
In this silly young heart of mine,
I always use to live on fantasy island.
She looks like a real life Goddess,
but she'll never touch me the way I need to be.
In order to heal me of my sickness and disease,
someone's gonna have to fill the hole in my chest.
On this new earth of mine,
I have a better sense of what love is.
In this silly young heart of mine,
I always use to live on fantasy island.
