I'm an eccentric, yes,
but I am only I am you
in a grayer shade of
rhythm and blues, a light
on the wall whose hand shadow
eludes to elephants electric,
ivory poached poetic by an
ambiguous muse, my mind's
asafari whose straw is
a pigment of dew, a vision
lit lucid where a sedative
looms, my own, my only,
my affectionate tomb
where I am lonely, though
loved by many majestic wounds.
