"Knights" By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Brave are the souls in their armor shining and polished,
As they force the people down freedom demolished.
Swindled, tricked, deceived,
But how dare you, you are not to be displeased.
No one cares for your opinions on these heroes, for your concerns are disregarded, abolished.
And so the cycle begins anew,
Of those "honorable" men there truly remains but a few.
If you even have the chance to count them,
As they proceed, uncaring for the rest, marching along awaiting their next gem.
And to those that would resist, we'll see you in the gallows, what a view!
