GRADESCHOOL CHICKEN SCRATCH - THAT'S ALLOWED By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
I am not writing because I am torn.
Nor am I in pursuit of the perfect line - not yet born.
I have not written to counter the stone that's been cast.
Penned exceptionally, yes - but I've also chicken scratch.
At times words flow slow, others quite damn fast.
Are writers, us penmans, all looking to put on a show?
Some yes, though some no - it is rightfully so.
These, they are truths that even we writers should know.
