Playing Foolish Games 9/28/15
“the tears in my eyes made me so wise”
Stop acting surprised when she takes their side,
She knew ‘em longer than you so quit acting like
You don't believe its true,
The proof is in the pudding.
Watching the play on everyday display,
Don't comprehend the words that I say
Or is it you just don't pay attention to the words I say;
Either way it goes the truth always is exposed
Maybe I just don't care anymore,
But that's not my style,
I always try to overstand why folks act so foul,
And when the time is right take herbal flight;
I get it,
I don't have a nickel in your dime
That's why I remain plotting crimes;
The more things change
the more they remain the same-
Playing foolish games…
