we've built a bridge that will never fall apart
no matter how many times we fight, i would never break your heart
i haven't told you but you mean everything
your warmth saves me from the cold
and when you smile, you glow
don't you know you mean the world to me?
when i can't sleep at night
you hold me close and sing me our lullaby
and it goes something like this…
“darling, let your worries and fears drift away
just know i'm here, i'll make you okay
i promise to never break your heart
i wanna make you smile every day
you have no idea how much i want you to stay
here in my arms”
when you're not here, i can hear your voice in my head
i wait up for you all night
even if its half past ten
i wonder if you're alright
when i met you i realized
that you're the one i want to always be by my side
and if you leave, i don't know if i could feel that way again
i remember telling you how i felt
scared that you might just turn your back around
but you instead you looked me in the eyes
and you said these very lines…
