Have you ever seen lips so red?
Like a maze of roses.
Have you even seen nails so red?
Like a field of posies.
Thorns like teeth and branches like hands,
I'd pick a garden's worth of flowers to be perfect feet treaded land
You would dig your heel into the dirt to see if you could receive a reaction
For lips like mazes don't come without complex interaction
Have you ever seen eyes so blue?
Like a bottomless ocean.
Have you ever seen hair so black?
Like the bottom of the ocean.
You rub against my heart like poison ivy to bareskin,
I'd bear that itch like a trophy if only you'd bear my love like a sin.
You would kick the stone I'm buried under to see if you could receive a reaction,
For eyes like oceans don't come without complex interaction.
