Stranger in Red By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Along snowy roads that curve off to the right
Into a haze of freezing white
I see a woman in red
Holding an umbrella to her head
Crunching through the dirty snow
in heels that left marks where she'd go
For a moment I care who she is
Where she goes and where she lives
Like those dreams where I'm acquainting with strangers
Red upon white, into a haze of freezing white
I cannot look away!
As she wanders like a dream out of sight
She is red, she is red upon white
