As i sit here; hugging my knees by the window pane,
I take a walk down memory lane
A reverie playing of the king and queen's reign
I guess I never pulled the brakes on this love train
I wonder…what caused the strain?
Please tell me why we went down the drain,
I remember how much you loved me running my hands through your mane!
Must we forever remain estranged?
I really miss how we danced out in the rain!
And how you loved to drive me insane!
What's fun about living life sane?
I'd rather have you coursing through my vein
Wait a minute! I wonder…who turned you about me being your main?
Double agent! Was this only for your selfish gain?
You leave me with nothing; but mere grains
Loving you, was never something plain
And now you won't even let me fly your plane
Tell me…do you know that you're my bane?
All I ever wanted was to ease your pain
Even when my neck I had to crane!
Foiled attempts-my efforts have been in vain
And happiness, an illusion that this zombie must now feign
Adiós my love! From this affinity, I must refrain!
