You wanted me to carry you across the threshold
My dear..I'm only flesh and bone
I summed up all that I could muster
As I didn't want to moan
I did a bit of secret training in the gym
To make my biceps hard as steel
And ate a muscle building diet
Spinach with every single meal
And on the day we said our vows..and married
I couldn't have been fitter...more
Weightlifters belt concealed beneath my suit
I took my place outside our new front door
And there you were all dressed in bridal whiteness
Thirty stones .....I didn't want to be a wuss
In preparation I was mostly ready
But just in case ....I wore a truss
And that was how our marriage prematurely ended
And why you never need to take the pill
We never consummated did we darling
As I'm still in Stoke Mandeville
