i owned this game
years of mastering my skills
the years of practice
don't lesson the thrill
i love but i don't
never saying i will
because i wont
and they forget that i didn't
and im gone
like a gust of wind
they may never hear of me again
but its not as if iv sinned
the game was never about winning
it was my goal to have a tie
each get what they wanted
and forget as time goes by
they all leave a mark
i learn from them all many things
i got great at understanding body language
and what causal words really mean
each experience is unexpected for them
but i know its going to happen the minute we meet
i get what i want because i go for it
somehow pulling it off as discreet
its always short
because i know they will get bored
so i prefer to get bored first
but yet the memories i hoard
i have a spot in my heart for them all
the game is funner that way
i can say i know them
if they are famous some day
then there was you
the game went on pause
but your game was still on play
and it happens that way just because
if you were to add all i loved
about all the ones before
it would still have not equaled to you
and playing is just not as fun anymore
but you left me like all the others
and for the first and last time there were tears
deep down my wish is that you will find me again
when you realize you want me in a couple years
after you the game went on fast forward
moving fast to get you out of my mind
but nothing i do will let me forget
the only love who left behind
